Mission
To answer to the needs of industry and society to improve both efficiency and safety in travelling and transportation. Through collaborations with alliances and the integration of process engineering, ICT research and development, and continuous human capital development, ITS lab at NECTEC aims be a world-class excellence center of research and development in information technology related to traffic engineering and Logistics management.
Human Resource
The ITS lab currently have 2 senior researchers, 2 researchers, and 7 assistant researchers. (4 PhD., 3 M.S., and 4 B.S.)
Current Projects
The current projects include Traffic Report and Evaluation project, Congestion Level Estimation (from traffic information) project, Traffy Social Eye project, Traffic Anomaly Detection project, Road Safety Report through Mobile Device project.
Future Projects
The future projects include the Travel Behavior Analysis project, Food and Vegetables Logistics System Analysis (Traceability) project, Travel Time Estimation project.
Publications and Patents
ITS personnel have published 7 journals articles, filed 8 patents, and completed 14 prototypes in the past 3 years.
