Eligibility research :
- Candidate must also have a good knowledge in medical/health informatics and database/
data warehouse design.
The role of the fellow:
- To study and develop a metadata of an electronic health record (EHR) that is suitable for
Thailand.
Position 2.
Research Topic : Multi-camera 3D modeling integrate with visualization application
Qualifications requirement candidate :
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant technical area with strong academic record/experience in the topic area.
- Applicants must have completed the requirements for a Ph.D. and graduated doctorate within 5 years. A strong experience in the topic area will be considered.
Eligibility research : -
The role of the fellow:
- Developing an algorithm on multi-camera 3D modeling.
- Developing an algorithm on physical simulation of the human body.
- Developing an algorithm on tracked head-mounted.
- All source code are written in C/C++ (Borland C++ Builder will be first priority)
- At least 1 International journal & 1 Patent/ year.

Position 4.
Research Topic : Natural Language Processing (Text Simplification)
Qualifications requirement candidate :
- Ph.D. in NLP or Computational Linguistics, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or other related fields with strong experience in the topic area.
Eligibility research :
- Candidate must have good research experiences related to applied topics
The role of the fellow :
- To study and develop a framework for text simplification, basic Thai NLP for simplification, some applications such as text summarization, machine translation.

Research Topic : Quantum Cryptography : Experimental optics, quantum optics, free-space optics, photonics
Qualifications requirement candidate :
- Ph.D. in Physics (experimental optics, quantum optics, or photonics), Electrical Engineering or other related fields.
Eligibility research :
- Candidate must have good research experiences related to the topics as mentioned above
The role of the fellow :
- Focus on the experimental implementation on quantum key distribution (QKD)
- Conduct research in quantum cryptography areas

- Conduct research in security areas for Thailand's Smart health flagship.
- Focus on the implementation of encryptors.

Research Topic : Future Internet: Protocol Design and Applications
Qualifications requirement candidate :
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas.
Eligibility research :
- Has previous research experiences in the field of computer networks or telecommunications. Able to conduct research independently.
The role of the fellow :
- Survey security vulnerabilities in the Future Internet, propose a detection method and an algorithm to prevent them.
Position 8.
Research Topic : Signal Processing in speech and hearing
Qualifications requirement candidate :
- Ph.D.in EE, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or other related fields with strong experience in DSP.
Eligibility research :
- Candidate must have research experiences in design and implementation of DSP algorithms for at least 1 year. Good knowledge in speech and hearing science is a plus.

Research Topic : Adaptive Rehabilitation Robotic System
Qualifications requirement candidate :
- Ph.D. in Mechanical, Biomedical or Electrical Engineering, or in a closed related discipline, and possess strong skills in Robotics (design, dynamics, and control) and Artificial Intelligent.
Eligibility research :
- Candidate must have a good research experience in robotics and intelligent control.
The role of the fellow :
- Develop the novel control scheme of rehabilitation robotic systems for monitoring and learning the progress of the patient during the rehabilitation process, and for alternating the rehabilitation mode based on the patient condition and progress.

- To study and develop photonics modules and systems to solve problems related to agricultural sectors (e.g., rice, sericulture, livestock, food safety, etc.).
Position 11.
Research Topic : Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering
Qualifications requirement candidate :
- Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or other related fields with strong experience in the topic area.
Eligibility research :
- Candidate must have research experiences in design and development of SERS substrate for at least 1 year.
- Candidate must have a good knowledge in medical and biological sciences.
- One publication on the related topic in an international journal is required.
The role of the fellow :
- To develop a novel biosensor based on surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate fabricated by physical deposition techniques.
- Study the effect of thin film material and morphology on their ability to detect biological agents at trace concentrations.

Research Topic : Nanoplasmonics for biosensing (DNA biosensor arrays)
Qualifications requirement candidate :
- Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Electronics or other related fields.

- Explore a new type of a nanoplasmonics-based optical biosensor with possibility to miniaturize.
- Build a working prototype and apply for the detection of DNA in an array format.

- Ph.D. in Electrical, Optical, Mechanical, Material Engineering, or Physics (or equivalent)

- Experience with micro-fabrication and clean room handling. Knowledge in optics is a plus

Reseach Topic : Biosensor arrays for large analytes

- Development of new types of optical biosensor arrays suitable for very sensitive and high-throughput detection of large analytes including bacteria, viruses and cells. Optical signal amplification techniques using a nanoparticle enhancement or a photothermal effect will be investigated for very low concentration samples.
