The Assistive Technology and Medical Devices Research Group (A-MED) operates under the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC). The group focuses on research and development of medical device technologies, healthcare innovations, biomedical signal processing devices, rehabilitation technology, inclusive technology, and assistive technology. Its goal is to support the development of the targeted S-Curve industries in comprehensive healthcare and to enhance the quality of life for the public, particularly the elderly, people with disabilities, and underprivileged individuals, in response to the aging society.
