Using the proxy cache server

All SchoolNet members must direct the web cache server to cache.school.net.th to be able to browse web.

Essential configuration for your web browser

FTP proxy : cache.school.net.th Port : 8080

Gopher proxy : cache.school.net.th Port : 8080

HTTP proxy : cache.school.net.th Port : 8080

Netscape version 4 for Windows 95

1. Click on Edit menu, select Preferences
2. Double-click on Advanced
3. Click on Proxies
4. Choose Manual proxy configuration
5. Click View
   

Or you can tell Netscape use proxy cache by choosing

• Automatic proxy configuration
• Set this config

Internet Explorer 3.x for Windows 95

1. Right Click on Internet icon on Windows 95 desktop
2. select Properties
3. Click Connection tab
4. Cleck box Connect through a proxy server
5. Click Settings button

Internet Explorer V.4 for Windows 95

1. Click View menu
2. select Internet Options
3. Click Connection tab
4. Cleck box Access the Internet using a proxy server
5. Click Advanced button
