A tongue twister is the term that describes a sentence, a phrase, a rhyme or a paragraph which uses clusters of similar beginning consonants that are almost impossible to say together correctly. These selections are designed to twist the tongue, no matter how hard you try to keep things straight. They are funny, challenging and wonderful, but there is a rule that must be followed : you must say the twisters quickly and at the least three times. Study them , practice them and recite them in front of the class if you are sporting enough to try. Laughter is absolutely permitted! After you have try some of these, you may include others you have heard or made up your self.
