พ่อมดน้อย

พวกเราคงเคยอ่านแฮรี่ พอตเตอร์ กันแล้วนะคะ ลองอ่านภาคภาษาอังกฤษหรือยังคะ พวกเราอยากรู้คำศัพท์เกี่ยวกับพ่อมด แม่มด บ้างไหมคะ wizard = พ่อมด ( a man who has magic powers ) witch = แม่มด ( a woman who has magic powers ) robe = เสื้อผ้าหลวมๆ ลักษณะเป็นแบบเสื้อ คลุมที่พ่อมด แม่มดใส่นั่นแหละค่ะ ( long loose garments )

cauldron = หม้อโลหะกลมๆใบใหญ่ที่พ่อมด แม่มดใช้ ปรุงยา หรือสูตรวิเศษต่างๆของตน ( a lrage round open metal pot for boiling liquids over a fire ) ตัวอย่างประโยค: The witch put all her ingredients in the cauldron. spell = เวทมนตร์, ภาวะที่ตกอยู่ภายใต้มนตร์สะกด ( the magic word, a condition caused by magical power ) ตัวอย่างประโยค: The witch had put a spell on the princess and she felt asleep for ten years ) wand = ไม้กายสิทธิ์ ที่พ่อมด แม่มดถือไว้ในมือ แล้วใช้เวทมนตร์ทำในสิ่งที่ตนต้องการ ( a thin stick carried in the hand by a person who does magic tricks )

broomstick = ด้ามไม้กวาดที่พ่อมด แม่มดใช้ขี่บินไปไหนมาไหนนั่นแหละคะ ( long thin handle of a broom ) owl = นกฮูก ( ตาโต ) ( a night bird with large eyes ) Dark Arts = มนตร์ดำ goblet = ภาชนะที่ทำจากแก้วหรือโลหะ โดยไม่มีหูแก้ว เช่น แก้วใส่ไวน์ เป็นต้น ( a container made of glass or metal with a base and stem but no handles, for drinking wine ) เราจะพบคำนี้จากเรื่อง Harry Potter ตอนถ้วยอัคนี ไงคะ the goblet of fire คือถ้วยอัคนี ติชมแนะนำได้ที่ ketsarak@hotmail.com
