ABSTRACT -- Presently, there is no single standard for Thai government directory publishing. Each government agency has their own method, either in the form of paper or electronic. This paper deals with the problem of computerizing the entire government directory, which allows people to easily access via the Internet using the standard Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory system. First, we elaborate the basic characteristics of the directory system and point out its advantages and disadvantages. Then, we present our directory schema, illustrate our electronic directory system and web-based client application implementation.
